I would say as long as the white part of your nail is there you should be fine, otherwise it would hurt and possibly get infected.Manicure??
No. If you're getting just a manicure, then leave your nails long so they have more to work with. They will trim them to your liking. You don't cut your hair before a haircut do you??
But if you're going for acrylic nails, then you should trim your nails beforehand. Only for the fact that when your acrylics start to come off, It's a pain when the real nail underneath is long. It starts to peel off with the fake nail, etc. It's just usually more painful.
