like other people were saying, a basic manicure is just getting dead skin removed, nails shaped, and cuticles pushed back. it gives a sort of well-put together vibe to people, even if they don't realize what the affect is from. polish, though, is rather impractical. unless you are very much cautious and you don't do much with your hands, salon polish tends to chip/peel very quickly.

when guys get manicure- its like they get their nails paintd. They just cut their nails and clean up the cuticles, dead skin around the nails and snooth out the base of the nail. thats it.





Unless they put a shiney coat of nail polish on...thats pushing it.

Don't have a picture but they would just be small polished shiny nails on a big hand. It would look bad.
Umm, I'm guessing their nails just trimmed not anything like pink hearts etc.. LOL
