Manicure or pedicure made easy???

Everytime I try to paint my nails it's never a neat job. I don't want to go to a professional to have it done. Is there an easy way to paint my nails so they look ';salon'; done??Manicure or pedicure made easy???

I paint them then when they are defineitly dry i take a hot shower and fix them in the shower with my wooden stick. Then after that i top with clear coat.
Just paint teh nail and go afterwords witha Q-tip dipped in polish remover to clean around the edges. It makes it look perfect
