Manicure in pooll..?
i just got a manicure on saturdayy and tomrrrow a girl is having a party for our track team. she has a pool and it is open so we are going in it. will my manicure get ruined from the chlorine?? if so, what can i do to prevent it from getting ruined?Manicure in pooll..?

a ';french'; manicure/pedicure simply means that they will paint the white tips on your nails... the actual process of the mani/pedi is the same.

I charge $15 for a manicure and $30 for a pedicure... I think the other manicurist in my salon is slightly higher than me!
my manicures last a week, pedis= 4 weeks (thats with normal wear) (Walking on the beach, gardening, cleaning the house etc etc... significantly reduces the time the paint lasts).
BUT...ive heard of manicures that only last 2-3 days, and pedis that only last 1 week... it depends on how well the manicurist does her job and the products she uses!Manicure/ Pedicure?

Nope, whe i got mine done it didnt hurt at all, and i got my first prefessional manicure done when i was 13

No it doesn't it feels really good,actually once u have it you'd want to go back again and again! this kinda reminds me of my 1st time it was for a dance well actually i wasn't afraid more excited to get it done lol, but i was worried a little about if it gets ruined or whether it was ok to do..Now I usually get my nails done alot so don't worry at all just relax...have fun! oh and here r some basic steps if you ever want to do your own manicure at home!: http://www.beautyrealm.com/newsletter5.htm
Why would it hurt? It feels REALLY good. They paint ur nails really cute with no mistakes. This is AFTER they soak ur hands in warm water and massage ur hands and arms with warm lotion. It is so relaxing! You will have so much fun! Good luck and you will be so happy after you do it ;) Hope I helped

it may hurt if you hit your nail hard against something or if it breaks a while after.

Everytime I try to paint my nails it's never a neat job. I don't want to go to a professional to have it done. Is there an easy way to paint my nails so they look ';salon'; done??Manicure or pedicure made easy???

I paint them then when they are defineitly dry i take a hot shower and fix them in the shower with my wooden stick. Then after that i top with clear coat.
Just paint teh nail and go afterwords witha Q-tip dipped in polish remover to clean around the edges. It makes it look perfectfacial

Don't go for what's popular or you like. Go for a color that looks best on you. For example I have brown skin and I wore this neon pink nail polish once that got everyone saying it goes good with your skin and stuff like that.
